Alex Hokanson

Alex is a Managing Director and senior member of AlTi Global’s Investment Group, with responsibility for manager selection, risk management and portfolio construction for both traditional and impact investments. Alex manages the firm’s research process for infrastructure strategies and for impact investing strategies, with a significant focus on climate technology investments in the private markets. 

Prior to the formation of AlTi Global, Alex was a Managing Director at Tiedemann Advisors, where he focused on risk management, portfolio construction and manager selection. Alex joined Tiedemann when the firm merged with Threshold Group. Prior to joining Threshold, Alex spent ten years at SEI Investments in a variety of roles, most recently leading investment research and due diligence with the Alternative Investments team.

Alex earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Villanova University and a Master of Science degree in financial engineering from Temple University. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a Certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM®).
